Our Story

How it all started...

In 1994, nestled within the heart of the Bay Area, a humble vision was birthed with Cornerstone Antioch Church. Founded by Pastor Larry and Sue Navhilon, this vibrant community began in the warmth of a home, but its aspirations stretched far beyond its modest beginnings. With a passion to spread their faith and uplift their community, the Navhilons embarked on a journey of growth and expansion. From those early days emerged Cornerstone Christian School, a beacon of educational excellence, established in 2000. What started as a small initiative has blossomed into two thriving campuses, offering education from preschool through high school, shaping the minds and hearts of countless students in the Bay Area.

Expanding the vision...

As the years unfolded, Cornerstone continued to evolve, reflecting its commitment to holistic growth and service. Recognizing the importance of nurturing future leaders, the church initiated an internship program tailored for college students, providing a platform for personal development and hands-on ministry experience. Today, Cornerstone stands as a testament to the power of vision and community, with over 500 students annually passing through its doors, each one touched by the spirit of dedication and compassion that defines this remarkable institution.

Where we are headed...

With a fervent commitment to spreading the gospel, Cornerstone Christian Center is poised to extend its reach to the greater East Bay region. Anchored in faith and fueled by love, the church passionately pursues its mission, not only to cultivate vibrant communities but also to engage in meaningful missions outreach.
